Foreign Tongues

When words have been restricted

Our minds become constricted

And a fear of true expression

Starts to overcome us

When we’ve hidden our true voice

Whether with or without choice

Admiration forms at times

For the outspoken among us

Yet as they edge away from reason

When you finally truly see them

There’s a darkening realization

All will see you like that being

So for the thoughts within your head

Learn to use your words instead

So that you can make quite certain

That it’s your heart they are seeing
